Free access to kids entertainment

PBS Kids Video is a multimedia application created for the viewers of the popular TV channel. This app provides you with free access to cartoons and other children’s entertainment programs. You can watch and download full episodes of the PBS Kids show and other educational videos. There is also a live TV feature, which allows you to watch PBS shows as they air on TV. However, the app is not that reliable and sometimes fails to work.

App offerings

With PBS Kids Video, kids and kids-at-heart alike can catch up to their favorite PBS Kids shows, anytime and anywhere. The app comes with full episodes of more than 34 programs, including Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Arthur, Dinosaur Train, Odd Squad, and Sesame Street.  Not only that, but the app also has more than 1000 educational videos. With this, your kids can learn whether they are at home or even on the road.

You can stream videos online or download them for offline viewing. PBS Kids adds new episodes weekly, so you will always have something new to look forward to. As mentioned, you can stream live PBS Kids shows as they air on your local PBS station. There is no subscription or login required for this feature. You only need to click the Live TV button on the app, and you can access the live channel 24/7.

However, before downloading the PBS Kids Video app, there are some things that need your consideration. For one, the app is only compatible with iOS 11 or higher. Moreover, due to the restrictions on licenses to offer this service, the videos are only available in the United States. Finally, while there is a wide selection of shows available to you, not all of them are available for download and view offline.

Fun ways to learn

PBS Kids Video gives kids and parents access to thousands of free videos. With this app, kids can watch their favorite shows, no matter where they are. Parents can also use it to continue educating their children even outside the school with educational videos available in the application. However, due to its restriction, not everybody can use the app, let alone access its offerings.

Softonic

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
